Estravel Group believes that sustainable tourism is a force for good. Tourism has the potential to make a beneficial impact on the economy, culture, and social relationships. When we travel, we support local economies, help to value and preserve diverse cultures, and strengthen human connections. At the same time, we understand that tourism leaves an environmental footprint.
Our mission is to appreciate the positive impact of tourism while acting responsibly and minimizing the negative environmental impact of our business activities. We operate responsibly in matters of environmental, social impact, and governance (known as the ESG perspective – Environmental, Social, Governance).
Estravel Group sustainability (ESG) strategy focuses on four main areas: employees, customers, environment, and responsible governance. The selection of these areas is based on a materiality analysis and the alignment with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
Estravel focuses primarily on five of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in addition to Estonia’s own goal for the vitality of the cultural sector (derived from the national strategy “Sustainable Estonia 21”), which we can most significantly impact through our activities:
The greatest value of Estrael is our people. We continuously develop a work environment where our employees feel safe and well. We are firmly committed to supporting a healthy work-life balance for our employees and promoting health and well-being throughout the organization.
We are dedicated to stable employment relationships and the quality of employment. We ensure equal opportunities for all, offering training and development opportunities to attract and retain talent.
Whenever possible, we prefer suppliers and partners with high sustainability and environmental responsibility standards. We reduce waste generation in offices through sorting and recycling, including the ongoing reduction of digital waste.
We are constantly working towards reducing our direct environmental impacts. Additionally, we raise awareness among our employees, clients, and the public on climate issues and help them move towards a smaller CO2 footprint.
We comply with laws and company regulations, avoid conflicts of interest, bribery, money laundering, and corruption. We set high standards for reliability, transparency, and honesty, and ensure a safe channel for reporting misconduct.
We contribute to the promotion and vitality of Estonian culture (domestic and inbound tourism). We ensure that local people and communities (both in Estonia and globally) benefit from tourism and local supply chains. We offer a wide range of local cultural and culinary experiences in our travel programs.
